Led only by the North Star, people such as <a href="http://aakulturezone.com/kidz/abc/harriet.html">Harriet Tubman</a>, made their way to safer havens throughout Canada. Today Montreal and Laval, two of Quebec&#8217;s largest cities, have large black populations that have contributed greatly to the success of Canadian society.</p>
